A wonderfully renovated chalet located on a popular holiday park with excellent seasonal facilities and sea views. Coastal Retreat Chalet offers great value for money in a stunning location just 150 yards from Fishcombe Cove, and 10 minutes walk to the beautiful harbour town of Brixham. Perfect for both couples and families. 

 

Having undergone a recent refurbishment, this well-presented chalet has a light and bright feel with sea views from the principal rooms. The open-plan space at the front of the chalet includes the living area, dining area and kitchen. 

The carpeted lounge area offers comfortable seating, a TV and DVD player and electric feature fire making a cosy spot for relaxing after a long day exploring.

 

The fitted kitchen is well equipped for cooking an evening meal after a day of fresh sea air. This includes an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with ice box along with a dining table to seat four guests. On warmer evenings, enjoy dining al fresco on the terrace with sea views across to Torquay.

There are two bedrooms, one double and a second with twin beds. The bathroom provides a shower cuble with newly fitted shower and panelling, washbasin and WC.

 

The adjacent holiday park’s facilities also include a heated indoor pool, available to guests at no extra cost. Whilst there is plenty to keep you entertained on the holiday park, you won't want to miss out on exploring the local area. The pretty Fishcombe Cove lies just at the bottom of the hill in front of the holiday park, home to the Fishcombe Cove Cafe, Gold winner of 'Best Cafe of the Year' award in the Devon Tourism Award 2021. Follow the South West coast path 5 minutes down through the adjacent National Trust woodland and you will find yourself at the very picturesque and sheltered Churston Cove and beyond that is Elberry Cove. These sheltered coves are popular with seals, and paddle boarders! Brixham itself has plenty to offer including an array of shops, cafes and restaurants together with a range of boat trips from the harbour including mackerel fishing and sea-fari cruises where you can spot the dolphins.

 

To the front of the property, there is a small but sunny terrace area that enjoys views across Torbay. The property also offers allocated parking for 1 car.

  • 3 nights minimum stay applies Oct - March, excluding half-term dates which is a 7 night minimum stay

  • 7 nights minimum from 18th March, with Friday changeover 

  • Swimming Pool, Bar and Club House open Easter to October annually* (exact dates are subject to the discretion of the site managers)

  • No pets permitted 

  • Children aged 2 and above welcome. Please note you will need to bring your own travel cot and high chair. 

  • Whilst there are no stairs within the chalet, guests may wish to bring a stair gate to secure the front door which has steps down to the terrace. 

  • Complimentary welcome provisions upon arrival

Access

There are a small number of steps that lead up to the entrance of the property. Soft luggage which can be more easily stored away are recommended. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly with any queries you may have about this property and its access suitability.
